"A wonderful stay at The Tractor Shed and an ideal base to further explore Cornwall. Easy to park (right outside the premises, (with step free access) in a quiet location with views over rolling hills from the rear of the accommodation and a pleasant outside space. The place is modern, ‘squeaky clean,’ with a comfortable bed and furniture and a well equipped kitchen. Richard (the host) was friendly and helpful and provided in depth instructions pre my visit. "We had the most relaxing time at the pigsty, with a great location, only a 10-minute drive to Falmouth and 40 minutes from other main locations in Cornwall. The accommodation was beautiful, a really clean kitchen, a comfy bed and welcoming hosts who were always quick to respond. A fantastic guide to what we could do whilst we were there, with recommendations for local food and entertainment. Would definitely recommend for a break, super excellent stay."

"A fabulous cottage, with everything you need. It was beautifully clean and great to have milk, coffee and tea for a much needed drink! Parking on-site and some lovely gardens. Communication is great, was good to have some very useful pre stay information (including good directions of how to find the cottage) and also some further information on-site. Great location, quiet but only a few minutes drive away from the main road with easy access to Falmouth and Truro. Short drive to some beautiful coastal towns, Porthleven is a must as is Tintagel (a longer drive but worth it). Handy supermarket and local shop not far away. Would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again."

"From the moment we booked Trewena cottage we felt that Richard was friendly, welcoming and really responsive - offering details of what is available at the accomodation & within the area, making clear that he would be nearby for help if needed. We stayed in the Tractor Shed, which was so homely & comfortable - we loved coming back to the sofa after days out walking - so comfy. Also heated blankets on the bed! Black out curtains & dreamy bed linen also made for a good night's sleep each night. We loved the personal touches like shortbread & freah milk in the fridge to have on arrival with a cuppa. There was also a Christmas tree that made us feel at home, given our break was between Christmas & New Year. Richard also let us know that there wasn't anyone arriving the day we checked out, so offered us a late check out & the option to stay longer which we appreciates & would have jumped at the chance had we not had to head back. Great stay overall & would highly recommend. Thanks again."

There was clear attention to detail and the apartment was comfortable and well appointed. Everything worked beautifully. The bed was huge and comfortable. There is a nice private patio at the back in the sun. Richard was a delight, available if needed and offering suggestions of local sights to take in. Richard and Hellen very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Very good centre for exploring this part of Cornwall, but be aware of the 20mph limits in every village, even on some A roads! Stunning grounds to the cottages, lovely to have use of the meadow, etc. Husband even managed to have his morning jogs around the meadow! Visits from a baby bunny as well. Would definitely recommend the cottage and would book again if we came down here in the future."

"We had a really peaceful stay , few things we were a little disappointed with mattresse quite firm but that’s personal choice , quilt on the thin side, the kitchen did smell of damp shower trap needed a good clean , towels had a fusty damp smell to them luckily we had our own did speak to Richard who did listen and take everything on board"

"Stayed here for 9 nights and couldnt have asked for a better place, hosts were lovely , really making You feel welcome and relaxed, once we were there tho , they just leave You alone, no mither whatsoever , but were on call whenever You needed anything , excellent service in my eyes ! Little Avalon was the name of our cottage and was beautiful inside and out , the grounds are all Yours to roam about , they have a fire pit in a field , great to relax around at night , they are also in process of growing an orchard which once ready will be amazing !! Lots of Birds around , including falcons , hawks and eagles down to robins and other various small birds , its a little paradise !! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who wants to either relax or explore alot of Cornwall, its all within an hour and a half drive to anywhere in Cornwall , We managed to explore most of the coast towns , villages and beaches, plus did Eden project and visited some lovely houses and Gardens too !!"

Richard is close by, has a very supportive approach, and can deal immediately with any issues. "My partner and I enjoyed an absolutely lovely couple of nights at the Tractor Shed. It was very easy to find. The host (Richard) is very responsive and helpful - he welcomed me to the property and was never intrusive throughout our stay; he even recommended a great local chippy. The property itself is pristinely clean, well equipped (yet without clutter), and practical whilst being charming at the same time. Richard had prepped the property with the heating just right before our arrival - there's even an electric blanket on the bed for those who feel the cold. The surrounding grounds are lovely and peaceful and Falmouth is a few minutes drive away. What more could you want? All I can say is that if you're thinking about staying - do it! We'll certainly be revisiting in the future."

"Where do we start?! We absolutely LOVED The Tractor Shed! It was very easy to find, with plenty of parking in the very well laid out carpark. The Tractor Shed is beautifully furnished and finished to a very high standard. We were able to prepare all our meals in the well equiped kitchen. The generously sized bedroom and living area both have french doors leading out to a private space overlooking the Orchard. There is also a beautiful bathroom with a walk in shower. Each room has been so well thought out, we felt comfortable, relaxed, and at home immediately. Richard was super friendly and flexible, suggesting an early check-in and a relaxed check-out on our paticular stay dates in January. We didn't realised when we booked but Richard has 3 cottages on site and immediately we thought how perfect in would be for a holiday for an extended family. Together on the same farm but with everyone having their own place! Just an idea ;-)"

"Little Avalon was a beautiful place to stay. The cottage was decorated nicely with modern appliances and features (very handy USB Plugs!). Considering its location near a road, it never felt like you were on one. We hardly heard any vehicles at all, even those turning around on the driveway. Lighting the fire made it even more cosy, especially in these colder months! Overall we had a great stay, and considering we booked just over 48 hours before arrival, Rich and Helen were super accommodating and responsive. Their email containing all the information was really helpful, and it’s nice to see their commitments to improving their local environment with solar panels and planting a lovely orchard. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone, and would come back again (especially in the summer)"

"The Tractor Shed was an absolute delight to stay at. It was clean, and felt fresh. Living space was just right for 2 adults and has a gorgeous kitchen to cook in. It’s fully equipped. The sofas were extremely comfy for a sofa day where we read books and I cross stitched my heart out. The bed was super comfortable and Richard was kind enough to ensure the heated blanket was put on the bed! The heating was excellent in the tractor shed, we never went cold. The fridge was spacious but we realised that we had forgotten to buy butter after we went shopping. Fear not, Richard came to the rescue with some butter! It was surrounded by lovely acres of field and was about 10 minutes to Falmouth. Transport was mostly used with driving or taxis. Thank you for having us, it felt like home from home!"

"Such a lovely airbnb with great hosts. Clean and well presented, great to have our own parking. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed. Easy to get onto the main roads to explore Cornwall and our favourite day was the one day road trip recommended by the hosts around The Lizard it was unforgettable! We did find the bedroom got quite hot at night, it must be well insulated. The hosts do ask guests to hoover round at the end of the stay. One of our favourite parts of the airbnb was when the hosts offered to get everything together for a fire pit for us which was amazing and so kind, we really enjoyed the fire pit under the stars! We loved our stay and would recommend it thanks so much!"

"Me and my partner stayed with Richard and Hellen in Little Avalon for a few nights whilst visiting Falmouth and the stay was nothing short of perfect! As hosts they were fantastic, very responsive and even sent through a helpful little guide about our stay prior! We were also offered a late check out option or to extend for an extra night although unfortunately had to leave to travel back so could not take advantage of this! The accommodation was set in a lovely spot in the countryside but only about a 10 minute drive from the city centre which was an easy journey and was clean, beautifully designed and matched the listing description perfectly. Overall it was a 10 out of 10 stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Falmouth but wanting to stay in a more peaceful spot!"

"The place is beautifully done up, has all amenities required from a washing machine to a fully functioning kitchen, comfortable bed and shower, and spotlessly clean. The location is such that it took us about 35 minutes to Lizard Point (must visit), about an hour to Minack, hardly 10 minutes to the quaint seaside town of Falmouth. And we enjoyed the drive through the beautiful country side. Parking is right outside the space so very convenient too. Only would advise guests to carry their own shower gel and other toiletries as well as kitchen condiments if planning to cook. Cannot fault the host here because very clearly mentioned as such in the listing. Host stays on the premise so was always responsive. In sum, our stay was comfortable and lovely. Would not at all mind staying again."

"I'm very happy that we choosen Trewena Cottage as our base of our Cornwall road trip. The cottage is beautiful and clean, it has most things that we needed, large parking space and easy access. Location is at the edge of Falmouth so it is easy to get to petrol station and grocery. Let's be honest, every journey in Cornwall is not going to be short if you want to explore most part of South/South West Cornwall, be ready to spent around 1.5 - 2 hours per day in the car, which the scenery will make up for it. Luckily we had a few days of good weather in between the rainy days, so we have fully utilized it and explore as much as we can. Richard is very responsive and respectful for our communication and stay. No complains at all. I appreciate him as a host."
