Kernow Adventure Park is one of Cornwall’s best hidden adventure secrets! Located in Kessel Quarry, a short distance from Trewena Cottages, the once successful granite quarry is now flooded with spring water. Flanked by steep walls of granite the 21-acre former industrial site is now home to a bunch of fun water bound activities that’ll keep the whole family happy.
Visitors can choose to do swimming, paddle boarding, navigate the aquapark, or pilot one of the centre’s e-boats.
The aquapark is the star of the show as far as we’re concerned, featuring a floating assault course that you can jump, slide and climb around with the added thrill of being able to jump (or fall) into water en route.
For novice paddleboarders the centre is also a great place to familiarise yourself with using an SUP in safety before hitting the open water down at places Gylly beach. For wild swimmers the dedicated swim lanes and lovely crystal clear water also makes it a popular spot.
Visitors can book the activities individually, or do all 4 during their visit. Booking can be made at https://www.kernowadventurepark.com/book-aquapark
